Operations and Maintenance Manager — Casacampo Alpaca Ranch
We’re looking for a reliable, organized, and hands-on Operations Manager to help run the day-to-day rhythm of Casacampo Alpaca Ranch. This role blends animal care, property maintenance, guest experience oversight, staff coordination, and seasonal operations management. You’ll be the person who keeps the ranch running smoothly, cleanly, and safely—while supporting our slow-living, family-friendly atmosphere.
Core Responsibilities
Animal Care & Facility Upkeep
Oversee daily care for alpacas, llamas, goats, chickens, and other ranch animals
Ensure barns, stalls, and pens stay clean, functional, and guest-ready
Monitor animal health and assist with shearing, vet visits, and basic care
Maintain all fences, walkways, and animal areas
Keep the ranch looking polished—trash, sweeping, small repairs, paint touch-ups
Grounds, Gardens & Property Maintenance
Manage mowing, landscaping, and upkeep of guest paths and play areas
Support seasonal garden maintenance and harvest tasks
Coordinate light repairs, troubleshooting, and small projects across the property
Guest Experience & Park Operations
Ensure all ranch zones (animals, garden loop, play areas, Cellar Lounge entry) are clean, safe, and welcoming
Help with feed cup setup, refill stations, and smooth guest flow
Support weekend and peak-season operations with check-ins, on-the-ground problem solving, and crowd flow
Assist with events—setup, breakdown, animal assistance, and overall readiness
Lead by example in maintaining Casacampo’s calm, elevated atmosphere
Team Coordination
works closely with the ranch host and coordinator to ensure we are guest ready on the cellar, lodging and ranch side activities and events.
Oversee part-time and seasonal staff during shifts( ranch hands & housekeeping)
Train team members on cleaning standards, animal handling, and guest-friendly behavior
Communicate daily needs, punch-list items, and maintenance priorities
Report issues directly to the Ranch Manager/Owners with clarity and urgency

Comfortable managing people, delegating tasks, and holding a standard
Experience with small livestock or ranch work is a plus (training provided)

Full-Time: $20/hr + shared tips
15% of tips- this role is very important in the appearance and experience of our guests. Therefore tips are awarded as weekly bonuses.

RANCH HOST AND COORDINATOR

You’re the person who keeps Casacampo feeling effortless for guests. You are their host, concierge and the one they can see onsite.
You’ll move from the lounge and boutique, to greeting families, to guiding tours, to prepping for events. You oversee the vibe, the guest experience, and the day’s rhythm.
Full-time when the ranch is buzzing. Part-time when things slow down.

What You’ll Do
Food and Beverage & Hospitality (Peak Season Focus)
Serve as lead bartender for wine, beer, pisco cocktails, mocktails
Lead and train seasonal staff
Handle opening and closing procedures
Maintain drink quality, consistency, and flow
Manage POS and tip tracking
Maintain serve safe standards
Support ordering and prep
