Accessing the Ranch

The ranch is open to:

  • Visitors during The Cellar’s open hours

  • Overnight guests

  • Booked tours and experiences

  • Private event or retreat attendees

Access to the ranch refers to the area immediately outside The Cellar and the paca trail. Ranch guests are not allowed up the gravel driveway on their own without a guide. Guests are not allowed inside pens or pastures without a guide.

Overnight Guests & Gatherings

Overnight guests are welcome to enjoy the property with their registered group. However, parties or events require written approval and a signed agreement.

Party or Private Events is defined as any gathering on the property that includes any one or more of the following:

Guests not listed on the overnight reservation

• The use of amplified music or sound equipment

• The use of designated indoor or outdoor spaces for the purpose of hosting, celebrating, or entertaining

• A gathering that exceeds the number of overnight guests stated in the reservation

Decor, catering, hired services, or other event-style arrangements brought onto the property

General Respect & Conduct

• No parties or events unless pre-approved with a signed agreement. Parties and Event have additional policies and rental needs. For m

• Please respect quiet hours: 10 PM – 7 AM.

• Treat our ranch as you would your own. We’re a family-run ranch and ask that you help keep things clean and cared for.

Safety & Property

• No smoking or vaping inside any buildings. Designated smoking areas behind the Cellar.

• Pets are not allowed unless prior approval is given.

• Please do not move furniture or remove items from the house or common areas.

• Campfires must be in designated fire pits only (and not during windy or dry conditions).

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in: 4 PM | Check-out: 10 AM

  • Please throw towels on the floor and put garbage in the garbage can inside your unit.

  • Place plates and glasses and other eating utensils in the dishwasher

  • Double-check for personal belongings—we’d hate for you to leave anything behind!

  • Lock all doors and let us know you have left.

Ranch Etiquette

  • You’re welcome to enjoy the alpaca trail, harvest field and pasture viewing during daylight hours

  • Please do not feed or enter animal enclosures unless part of a hosted experience.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

Wine Lounge & Shared Amenities

  • Our wine lounge and ranch store have specific open hours—feel free to inquire!

  • Please clean up after using shared outdoor areas, grills, or fire pits.

Additional Fees May Apply For:

• Extra cleaning due to pets, smoke, or excess mess or damage

• Missing or damaged items

• Unauthorized guests or late checkouts

Cancellation & Refund Policy for Overnight Stays

  • 48-Hour Grace Period: Guests may cancel within 48 hours of booking and receive a full refund.

  • Credits for Future Stay: If a cancellation is made 30 days or more prior to arrival, we will issue a credit in the amount paid. This credit can be applied toward a future stay at current rates.

  • No Refunds or Credits: Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival are not eligible for refund or credit, as we would be likely unable to replace the booking.

Visitor Policy

  • Overnight guests are welcome to enjoy the ranch with their registered group. For the privacy of all guests, outside visitors are not permitted outside of The Cellar’s open hours or without prior approval.

Respect for the Ranch & Its Animals

We take our ranch policies seriously to protect our animals, our land, and the experience for all guests.

  • For our safety and yours—we kindly ask that guests do not feed any animals or wildlife on the property.

Failure to follow rules or staff instructions may result in:

  • Review and cancellation of your reservation

  • Immediate removal from the property

  • Being reported for trespassing or, if applicable, animal endangerment

Agritourism Liability Notice (Wisconsin Law)

By visiting Casacampo Alpaca Ranch, guests acknowledge the inherent risks of participating in agricultural activities and agree to assume those risks. This includes interaction with animals, farm equipment, and natural conditions.

Content Production (Media)

  • To preserve the privacy, values, and integrity of Casacampo Alpaca Ranch, all forms of content creation—including photography, videography, music recording, live streaming, or sound production—must be approved in writing prior to your visit. This includes, but is not limited to, personal or commercial shoots, social media content, influencer collaborations, promotional material, and professional equipment use.

  • The production of any adult, suggestive, explicit, or inappropriate content is strictly prohibited on the property, regardless of intent or audience. Casacampo is a family-centered environment, and we reserve the right to end any visit or reservation immediately if this policy is violated. Failure to comply with this policy may result in removal from the property without refund and/or legal action.
