Sip of Something Special: Wine, Pisco, and the Joy of Slowing Down
At Casacampo, we believe that a good drink isn’t just about flavor—it’s about feeling. A glass of wine shared with a friend under the open sky. A pisco cocktail enjoyed as the sun dips behind the trees. These aren’t just drinks; they’re moments.
As our cellar begins to fill with Wisconsin and Curated wines, we’ve loved exploring local vintages that pair perfectly with everything from quiet afternoons to hearty cheese boards. Crisp whites, bold reds, and a few sparkling surprises—each bottle telling a story of the land it came from.
But for us, wine isn’t the only way to celebrate.
We’ve also made room for something that connects to our roots: pisco.
Pisco is a Peruvian white brandy made from distilled grapes—floral, smooth, and full of history. It’s been around for centuries, sipped in small towns, coastal cities, and mountain villages. And now, it’s made its way to our little slice of Wisconsin Dells.
Peruvian national cocktail, the famous “Piscosour”
Why pisco? Because it brings something unexpected to the table.
Because it reminds us that hospitality crosses borders.
Because sometimes you need a little taste of home—even if it’s halfway around the world.
So whether you’re clinking glasses over a bold Marquette or savoring a pisco sour on a warm afternoon, we hope you taste more than just the drink. We hope you taste connection. To the land. To tradition. To each other.
Cheers to slowing down. Cheers to the unexpected. Cheers to wine—and of course, pisco.
love, casacampo
